You can use the SonarLint logo freely in
compliance with the guidelines below.

The SonarLint logo is the most direct representation of SonarLint itself, and must only be used on a white background
and in an approved manner, as described below.

Can Do

  • Use the SonarLint logo in a blog post or news article about SonarLint
  • Use the entire SonarLint logo
  • Scale the logo proportionally as you see fit
  • Use the SonarLint logo only on a white background
  • Use the SonarLint logo to link back to

Can NOT Do

  • Create a modified version, crop or use part of the image of the official SonarLint logo
  • Redesign, redraw, animate, modify, distort or alter the proportions, color or typeface of the SonarLint logo
  • Use the SonarLint logo or the waves for your own company or application icon
  • Integrate the SonarLint logo or the waves into your logo
  • Link the SonarLint logo to a different website than SonarLint

White version

We allow the logo to be used on a black background only in the two cases below:

  • For content presented on behalf of SonarSource.
  • For content presented in conjunction with an external partner, i.e. in a co-branding situation.

Logo safe space

The SonarLint logo must always be surrounded by open space, free from any other element. The minimum spacing is equivalent to the height of the capital “S” in SonarLint on all four sides.

The icon Mark

The mark’s icon must be only used on light & neutral backgrounds or on its brand territory color background with a white icon. They must always be associated visually with the name of the brand.

How to use the icon

The SonarLint Mark’s icon must only be used in cases where a company icon or avatar is required (traditionally constrained to a perfect square or circle) and the name SonarLint must be associated with this icon.
